Movie Headlines

When Guillermo del Toro decided that he would not be directing the two upcoming Hobbit films, the internet started swirling with rumors of who would take his place.  The most obvious choice would be executive producer/writer Peter Jackson, who famously directed the original Lord of the Rings trilogy (and got a wheelbarrow full of Oscars for his effort). 

Ever since Tom Cruise showed up hairy, sweaty and bald as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder (a role a lot of people in theaters didn't even realize was Cruise until they saw his name in the credits), rumors have been swirling that the sweaty one could get his own movie.

Even though the last Indy movie, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was universally panned by fans and critics alike (I mean come on, a refrigerator?) it still brought in over $317 million.  All of the principals involved have always said that there would be a sequel, most likely sooner than later. 

Heath Ledger died on January 22, 2008 in the midst of glowing early feedback for the role he would eventually (and posthumously) win an Oscar for, the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Coming right on the heels of yesterday's unveiling of Captain America's outfit, today we get our first digital look (is it me or is this quickly becoming a trend that will be sticking around for a long, long time?) at the Norse god himself, courtesy of Collider.
