O.A.R. @ Dodge Theater

Last night was the 15th time I’ve seen O.A.R. since 2000 and, like always, it was a damn good time. If you haven’t had the chance to see them live, you have missed out on the best show of your life. They are all so solid at what they do. Every experience is different from the last as they add instrumentals/vocals to the live songs and change up the additions on each tour. I have considered them the best live act around for many years and once again that belief was reaffirmed.

O.A.R.

Last night’s set list:

“This Town”
“Dareh Meyod”
“Whose Chariot?”
“Anyway”
“Lay Down”
“Hey Girl”
“Ran Away to the Top of the World Today”
“Living in the End”
“I Feel Home”
“That Was a Crazy Game of Poker”
“Heard the World”
“Love and Memories”

Encore:
“Shattered (Turn the Car Around)”
“Program Director”
“City on Down”

O.A.R. is currently on tour supporting their new album, All Sides, which comes out on July 15th (my birthday!).

Check out their tour dates through the first of October after the jump.

If you’ve never heard of the Sick Puppies, you are missing out. They are a very talented band from Sydney, Australia who have been tearing up city after city with songs from their North American debut Dressed Up As Life. They are mostly known for their “Free Hugs” video which has been seen nearly 18 million times on YouTube. I, on the other hand, actually heard them on the radio about six months ago then found that video. I’ve been a huge fan ever since.
