According to the NY Daily News, Sean Avery’s name and phone number were found in contact book of call girl, Kristin Davis.
When asked about it, Sean was sure it nothing more than a practical joke saying,
For some reason, I highly doubt that… It’s April Fools’ Day coming up and I’m not going to fall for it.
At practice, Avery futher denied accusasions saying,
We’ve been laughing hysterically about this all morning… Oh, I certainly have a lot of enemies - I know that - as much as I have a lot of people that like me… I do know that if I ever was to venture into one of these establishments, I definitely wouldn’t use my own name. I think that that would probably be stating the obvious.
Was Martin Brodeur on the list?
My only problem with this is this:
Sean, how do you go from

Ben Jelen is the rare singer/songwriter that our callous world has been needing. After graduating from Rutgers University, Jelen (pronounced “Yellin”) moved to New York to work in the recording industry. Originally discovered by Joseph Janus as a model, he quickly transitioned to the role of artist with the 2004 release of Give It All Away on Maverick Records. The debut single, “Come On,” reached the MTV Top 20 and debuted at #58 on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales chart. Now Ben is ready to continue his musical journey with Ex-Sensitive, a more mature release that calls into question our treatment of nature and the downward spiral society will continue on if our wasteful ways remain unchanged.

Where were you born and where did you grow up?
Ben: I was born in Scotland, in Edinburgh, but I don’t really remember that because we moved to Boston very soon after that, like a month or two after I was born. My first memories are really from Bristol when we moved back to England and then when I was 9 we moved to Texas. I’ve had a pretty mixed up and confused life, where I’m from doesn’t really apply.

Thats right! It was reported yesterday that Clint Eastwood would be taking the helm with a film titled Gran Torino, Clint is reported to be directing AND starring - Well today AICN is reporting that the film that has everyone talking is about to get even better - Gran Torino is actually the sixth installment in the Dirty Harry franchise!
AICN posted this email from a tipster and while this is just rumor right now, it seems highly plausable that this is the route they are going to take.
“I recently advertised my 1974 ford grand torino classic original for sale in the local here, and within 24 hours had someone from Village Roadshow Pictures interested in having a look at it. He came. He wasn’t interested for numerous reasons (probably the modifications). He told me they were looking for the right car for a new Clint Eastwood movie.
He said it was a thriller about a killer that drives a certain torino. His 1972 Ford Gran Torino is the only thing the police have on him. A retired police lieutenant, one Harry Callahan, makes it his mission to track down the culprit when two young police officers, one Callahan’s grandson, are shot and killed by the guy.”
I’ll be keeping my ear to the ground for more on this, but in the mean time, do you feel lucky punk? Well… DO YA?

When I first heard about this movie, I thought, meh. To be honest I haven’t liked a lot of Ben Stillers recent work. So when I heard about Tropic Thunder I figured it was more of the same, that is until I started reading an interview the guys at firstshowing.net put up with Stiller. It actually sounded hilarious - the kicker though, Robert Downey Jr. plays a black man. Thats right, and wait until you see it. Hilarity.
Anyway check out the trailer and some set photos after the jump…

The last movie I can remember seeing in 3D was Freddy’s dead. I tried to bury myself in my seat as the sharp gloves slid across the floor, the pointed ends coming to rest inches from my eyes.
But that was 1991, and the world didn’t reall care about 3D. In the next few years, you will see a dramatic shift in how hollywood embraces digital 3d technology.

Check out this article from the New York Times and my thoughts on the future of cinema after the jump.
