Here is the first official cast photo from the upcoming teen vampire film Twilight.  If you haven’t heard of this movie, you’re not alone…until I saw this cast photo, I had no idea what this was.  Apparently, though, this is one of the most anticipated films of the year due to its rabid fanbase of teenage girls and older people alike.  It’s the first entry in a series of novels by Stephenie Meyer that are aimed at a younger audience.  Could this be the next Harry Potter?  The books have already proven to be about as successful so the movie(s) could be a huge hit as well.

Twilight is scheduled to be released on December 12th, 2008.  The first teaser trailer will be attached to Speed Racer when it hits theaters on May 9th.
