The 2008 American Music Awards were held last night in Los Angeles. The big winner was Chris Brown with 3 awards. Other notable winners were Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna. Performers included Miley Cyrus, Ne-Yo, Beyonce, New Kids on the Block, and Christina Aguilera.

Less than three months after dropping Mixtape Messiah 4, Houston rapper Chamillionaire released Mixtape Messiah 5 yesterday. If you live in Texas, make sure you pick up a copy. There is no word yet on if there will be a national release in retail stores.
