Here is the first interview from my day at Warped Tour '09: Buddy Nielsen, lead singer of Senses Fail.

Senses Fail is Buddy Nielsen (vocals), Garrett Zablocki (guitar), Jason Black (bass), Dan Trapp (drums), and Heath Saraceno (guitar).
Tell me about Life Is Not A Waiting Room.
Buddy Nielsen: It's good. I like it.
Anything about the writing process?
Buddy: Well basically we go in our basement, come up with ideas, record them, demo them, and go re-record them and change them and make them better. Then, the album comes out and less people buy it then previously because nobody buys records anymore. Then, we go on tour for a year and a half and repeat.
How has Warped Tour been so far?
Buddy: Good. It's going.
How are you handling the heat?
Buddy: I probably just stay inside.
Don't go out there until you absolutely have to?
Buddy: Exactly. That's 100% what I do and 100% my goal.
What's been the wildest crowd so far?
Buddy: Phoenix was really good and so was San Francisco.
Everybody seems to be playing about 30 minutes. What kind of set list can we look forward to?
Buddy: A short one. In and out.
Haha perform, do your signing, then next city.
Buddy: Pretty much! You also have to wait in line to eat. There's a lot of waiting in lines. That's really the only thing that I don't like. But I have devised a system where I have become friends with many people and I walk up to the line and I touch them. That means I am standing in line with them and I go sit down and talk to other people who are already eating. Once they are done and up there, I'll go back. Some people don't like that but it's a game everyone can play
Well it works and you get your food quicker.
Buddy: Yes. That's really all that I'm looking for and then I'll be out of everyone's hair.
