I have been working with WordPress for 10+ years and have taken college classes and online certifications to keep my skills up to date. Since WordPress, SEO, and social media are always changing I keep my skills up to date and attending local Meet-Ups and WordPress events. Most of my clients are local salons, restaurants, and family owned small businesses. I also work with independent professionals like personal trainers, personal finance advisers, and independent business consultants for various programs. I’ve found that a clear communication and careful planning are extremely important for complete client satisfaction and successful project completion. Meeting face to face or working online via screen share are very common for me because it helps me get immediate feedback and make quick modifications.
